International Airport
Grenoble is located 80 km East of Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport, one hour by shuttle bus.

National Airport
Grenoble Airport offers direct flights with Paris-Orly and several cities in Europe. A shuttle bus operates between St Geoirs airport and Grenoble bus/railway station for each arriving or departing flight (45 mn).
For your information, the cost of a taxi ride (at your own expense) Grenoble airport - Grenoble bus/railway station is approximately 60€ (add 50% on weekends or at night, duration : 35 mn).

Train
Several high speed trains (TGV) daily connect directly Grenoble and Paris-Gare de Lyon or Paris-Roissy airport (3 hour trip).

Schedule:
Group travel from Grenoble to the Courses site: August 25th - at 17:00.
Transportation will be arranged from CNRS-Grenoble to Chichilianne (a site in the mountains), and back to Grenoble.
Group travel back to Grenoble : September 1st, departure from Chichilianne at 17:00.
Technical and practical courses will take place at the CNRS - Low Temperature Laboratory (Grenoble), Institut Néel, 25 rue des Martys, Polygone Scientifique de Grenoble , 38000 Grenoble, France.

Researchers interested in joining the 2013 Cryocourse (see first: dates, programme, cost, financial support on other pages of this Web site) should complete the pre-registration form below and send it before the end of June (see important dates page):

Do not hesitate in contacting us if you do not receive it.
The selection procedure will take place on the first days of July.
The decision of the selection committee will be made before July 14^th and immediately communicated to the candidates.

Eligible Researchers
Cryocourse is designed for providing training to young researchers who are starting or preparing a PhD, or having recently completed a PhD in research, development or industrial areas involving advanced cryogenics.
Senior researchers can also apply, under restrictive conditions.

Registration fee and Financial support
Registration fee: from 0 to 1000 Euros (travel not included)
The registration fee includes participation to the lectures and practical courses, housing (1 or 2 people room occupancy), breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Nationals from the European Union and associated countries may benefit from financial support covering ALL expenses (including travel); participants from third countries may benefit from reduced fees and additional financial support, on demand.
